An essential guide for your visit, the trail map will help you make the most of your visit to Warbler Woods.
Handicapped Friendly and All-Weather Trails
From the parking area, 1.) Take the trail past the porta potty and gardens to the barn; 2.) Turn right briefly and the left at Thrasher Alley; 3.) Continue past Thomas' Meadow and back to the main road; 4.) Loop back on the main road to the parking area or take the turn to the Old Picnic Ground; 5.) Turn left at the Chimney Swift Tower on the Hideout Path, and back to the parking lot. There are blinds with feeders and water features at both Thomas' Meadow and The Hideout.

This tool will allow you to document sightings during your visit. The checklist is available online or in printed form. Please plan to complete the checklist online, print a hardcopy version prior to your arrival or pick up a copy at the Visitor Kiosk.
Make sure you submit the checklist upon departure so we can have record of your viewed species. All data collected will be submitted to ebird.org since Warbler Woods is a hotspot for Texas birding.
*Please remember to watch out for Rattlesnakes and other venomous snakes during your visit.
